Steve Tassler, gCommerce Marketing, Park City, Utah
Just returned from enjoying a wonderfully informative dinner meeting with Steve Tassler of gCommerce Marketing, Park City, Utah. I was impressed with a speech Steve gave at the Ragatz Fractional Conference in March, 2009 and I’m even more impressed with Steve’s knowledge of marketing now. Lots of great ideas to think about, all good, but a bit overwhelming!
Steve has lived in Park City for ten years and it was interesting to get an insider’s history of the area and discuss how the internet has helped ski/resort towns become year-round residences for people fortunate enough to be able to work away from the big cities. Park City is also a bedroom community (of sorts) for Salt Lake City. A big plus for Park City is the proximity to the Salt Lake City Airport, a major hub approximately 45 minutes away. It’s easy to understand the popularity of the Park City and Deer Valley area: easy access to flights at an international airport serving much of the country non-stop.
BTW, if you’re headed to Park City, our meal at the Prime Steakhouse was absolutely excellent.
